Paul was born and raised in East Texas and at the age of 22 he gave his heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ. In 1995 he married his wife Brandi and they have three children, Randy, Elizabeth, and Carly. He answered God’s call to ministry at the age of 29 and in September of 2001 was licensed into the gospel ministry. He was ordained in February of 2004 and in February of 2007 he left the piney woods of East Texas for the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas, first to serve as Minister of Youth & Outreach, and as of March 10, 2013, he has become our lead pastor.Paul has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Ministry from Luther Rice University. His desire is to see people come to know Christ and grow in their relationship with Him, and to lead the church to be a missional disciple-making church, both locally and globally.
Ty was born and raised in the NWA area, and graduated from Springdale High School in 1998. In the Spring of 2001 he married his beautiful wife Jessica and they have one son together, Silas. Ty was ordained into the gospel ministry in 2008. Ty is having a blast serving God in the local church. Ty is a very talented musician with a heart and a passion to worship God and to lead others to do the same, especially through music. He enjoys music of all genres, playing guitar, motorcycles, spending time with Ms. Jessica and enjoying life with the coolest little kid in the world.
Patrick was born and raised in Garfield Arkansas and graduated from Pea Ridge High School in 2009. He is married to his lovely wife Teala, and they have one son together, Cameron. Patrick surrendered and was licensed to the Gospel Ministry in 2008 at First Baptist Garfield. Patrick enjoys all kinds of activities including sports, hunting, fishing, technology, being a husband and father, and being around youth. Patrick has a deep love and commitment for the youth and parents in the Northwest Arkansas area and wants to see them grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Patrick graduated from Williams Baptist College in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry.
Bob was born and raised in his family’s home town of Ava, Mo. He graduated from Ava High School in 1952 and met his wife to be, Patricia, in 1954 and they were married in 1955. They have since raised four children, two girls and two boys. Bob received Christ as his Savior at the age of twenty-two and shortly after he and Mrs. Pat surrendered to God’s call to pastoral ministry. Bob went on to graduate from UMC (the first of three generations) in 1969 and from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 1975. Bob has pastored churches in both Missouri and Arkansas and officially retired from the pastorate in 1996 and resided in Nevada, Mo until 2012 when he and Mrs. Pat moved to Pea Ridge, Ar and joined 1st Garfield. Bro. Bob “un-retired ” and served officially as our Care Pastor for a couple of years. Although he has retired again He continues to serve the Lord and our church faithfully as Pastor Emeritus.
